Troy Johnston hit a two-run homer, Ezequiel Tovar had three hits and three RBIs, and the Colorado Rockies won for the first time this season by routing the Toronto Blue Jays 14-5 on Monday night. After losing three straight one-run games in a weekend sweep at Miami, Colorado thumped the previously undefeated Blue Jays to avoid the first 0-4 start in team history. The Rockies are 2-11 all-time in Toronto.

Wildcats plate 56 runs in 3-game sweep over Beavers
Mar. 30—WAYNE, Neb. — Wayne State's bats got hot over the weekend against the Bemidji State baseball team. Hosting the Beavers at the Pete Chapman Complex in Wayne, Nebraska, WSC (18-9, 10-4 NSIC) rolled to a sweep by wins of 11-5, 26-15 and 19-7, all in seven innings.
