Thirty-three years ago, Punjab secured their maiden Ranji Trophy title on March 30, 1993, under Gursharan Singh's captaincy. Amit Sharma's 161 and Bharati Vij's bowling heroics were pivotal in their 120-run victory over Maharashtra, marking a significant milestone for Punjab cricket. It was their first and so far only domestic cricket title.
