United States forward Trinity Rodman has signed a new three-year deal with the National Women's Soccer League's Washington Spirit that will reportedly make her the world's highest-paid woman footballer.A four-year deal that would have paid Rodman significantly more in the second half of the contract term was vetoed by NWSL commissioner Jessica Berman, who reportedly believed it violated the "spirit" of league salary rules.
