New York Jets coach Aaron Glenn has high expectations for his team. The coach has already shown limited patience when it comes to mistakes, and those frustrations seemingly reached a head after Monday's loss to the Miami Dolphins. 

Following the Jets' sloppy 27-21 loss Monday, Glenn yelled at his team in the locker room so loudly that it could be heard in the adjacent media room. While media members could reportedly hear Glenn's locker-room rant, none of them reported what Glenn told the team after the loss. 

It was an infuriating performance from the Jets in Week 4. The team repeatedly sabotaged itself, turning the ball over three times and committing 13 penalties in a brutal loss to a Dolphins team that was without Tyreek Hill for most of the contest due to a gruesome injury.

Glenn was able to compose himself in time for his postgame presser, where he called the loss "very disappointing."

Glenn specifically called out the team's turnovers and penalties, saying no NFL team can win when they make that many mistakes.

That message got through to running back Breece Hall, who used a colorful quote to explain why the Jets can't seem to dig themselves out of their self-inflicted holes. 

Glenn joined the Jets in the offseason after spending four years as the Detroit Lions' defensive coordinator. It took the Lions' defense a year to adjust under Glenn. The team allowed the 25th most points per game during Glenn's first year on the job. The next three seasons, the Lions ranked within the top five of points allowed each year. 

Following Monday's loss, the Jets now sit at 0-4. Patience is necessary under Glenn, but the Jets have looked a lot like their same old selves through the first four weeks of the 2025 NFL season.
