'If they end the season trophyless now that has got to be the end of Arteta'

The Telegraph's Luke Edwards believes that if Arsenal do not win a trophy this season, it would go down as one of the "biggest implosions" and it would have to bring an end to Mikel Arteta's time as manager. Arsenal have been heavy favourites to win the Premier League for months, but a chastening defeat at home to Bournemouth has ramped up the pressure. The Gunners were also in a strong position to win an unprecedented quadruple before losing the League Cup final against Manchester City and being knocked out of the FA Cup quarter-finals by Championship side Southampton.
