The WNBA and its players union held a virtual meeting Monday to try and further negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement, a person familiar with the discussions told The Associated Press. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the negotiations. It was the first meeting between the two sides that involved players and the league since they met at the WNBA offices on Feb. 2.
