Account posing as Maryland football coach dupes recruits with bogus offers
Members of the GC Motion 7-on-7 football team in West Virginia were excited to hear they received an offer to play for the University of Maryland. The “Terps coach” that extended the offers — “Andrew Green” — doesn’t exist either. It all came from a fake X account posing as a Terps staffer.
