Question marks over Ruben Amorim's commitment to Manchester United's academy will only have heightened following the head coach's rather strange comments before Monday's Premier League game with Bournemouth at Old Trafford. Amorim was again having to defend his use (or lack of it) of England midfielder Kobbie Mainoo. Amorim gave both teenagers their first-team debuts last season, Chido playing eight times, seven as a substitute, without scoring, while Amass made seven appearances, including four Premier League starts.
