Former Newcastle defender Jonathan Woodgate says Lewis Miley has had to remain "patient" for opportunities this season but when he has been afforded them "he has done really well". Miley came off the bench to put the Magpies 2-1 up in Wednesday's 2-2 draw against Bayer Leverkusen and register his third goal involvement in four appearances after scoring and assisting in the 4-1 win over Everton in late November. "It is so special, without question," Woodgate told BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast.
