After initially staying quiet, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb finally revealed why he and fellow receiver George Pickens were benched to start Dallas' game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday. Lamb told reporters on Thursday that he and Pickens had dinner and a few drinks at the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas, and had missed curfew as result, via Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News.
Lamb, however, denied rumors that he had been seen throwing up at the casino, calling the suggest "direspect," via Watkins. Lamb added that he knows how to hold his liquor.

Lamb and Pickens sat on the bench for the first series of the Cowboys' 33-16 win over the Raiders. Postgame, Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters that it was a "coach's decision," but did not provide additional details. Lamb did not clarify what happened postgame either.
The move appeared to have lit some kind of fire for the receivers, as both Lamb and Pickens scored touchdowns during the dominant win. Lamb scored Dallas' first touchdown of the game on an 18-yard reception in the second quarter; Pickens got into the end zone later in the first half off a 37-yard play. Pickens led the team with nine catches and 144 yards.
