Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson left Monday's game against the Green Bay Packers with an ankle injury.

The Eagles listed him as questionable to return before halftime, but he was in significant pain with the injury and needed to ride a cart to get to Philadelphia's locker room.

The injury too place in the first half. Packers safety Evan Williams rolled into Johnson's lower left leg while pursuing running back Saquon Barkley. He made direct contact with the side of Johnson's knee, and Johnson fell to the turf in pain.

Johnson was able to limp off the field but needed help. And when he got to the tunnel, he rode a cart toward the Philadelphia locker room.

The injury is potentially a significant blow for Philadelphia's offense. Johnson is a five-time All-Pro and six-tie Pro Bowler and the veteran leader on Philadelphia's vaunted offensive line. The Eagles will suffer on the field as long as he's out.

Fred Johnson, a career backup, took Johnson's place in the first half against the Packers of a game that went into halftime in a scoreless tie.
