Evening kick-offs will dominate at the 2026 World Cup - except for the opener and final - after FIFA announced the timings and definitive venues on Saturday with one eye on the expected heat in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Four stadiums with roofs are mainly being used for earlier kick-offs in the June 11-July 19 event - including both semi-finals in Dallas and Atlanta - but some top games in grounds without roofs will therefore happen in the night for continents further east.
