Chelsea Clinton Visits Cincinnati's Favorite First Daughter: Fiona the Baby Hippo

It was a power meeting of famous daughters at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

Chelsea Clinton recently stopped by the famous facility to visit with its celebrity resident, Fiona the Baby Hippo.

Fiona — who is nearing her 2nd birthday — isn’t quite a baby anymore, but she is still full of a child-like energy.

During her visit, the former first daughter, 38, got to feed Fiona and her mom Bibi some healthy snacks and pose with the young hippopotamus, who is a selfie expert.

According to Fox 19, Clinton stopped at the zoo during the tour for her children’s book Start Now! You Can Make a Difference. The book touches on climate change, endangered animals and other important topics, offering kids facts, tips and advice one how they can make the world a better, healthier place.

Following her visit, Clinton tweeted her thanks to the zoo, writing, “Thank you to the @CincinnatiZoo team for a wonderful visit today with Fiona & Bibi! More importantly, thank you for taking excellent care of them both. So inspired by you, Fiona & Bibi!”

Fiona has done her part in making the world better: The hippo has become an important ambassador for the zoo, raising awareness on wildlife conservation.

Fiona was born premature in January 2017. While the zoo was concerned that the baby hippo wouldn’t make it, Fiona’s bravery, strength and charisma (with help from the amazing team at Cincinnati Zoo) pulled her through.

She has gone on to inspire countless others to follow their dreams and thrive, developing quite a fan base in the process.

The event was complete with a menu of barbeque and even a little football as the bride served as the quarterback while wearing her wedding gown.

“Tebow came by today, my grandma got to meet him. I had to hold her up a little but because I was worried she was going to go weak at the knees,” Sophie said before Frank quipped: “I think she was a little weak in the knees.”

Prince Charles Is Toasting Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Baby News — 'Several Times!'

Prince Charles will drink to that!

After Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s announcement that they’re expecting a baby, Meghan’s happy father-in-law has been celebrating.

During a tour of whiskey distillery Royal Lochnagar in Scotland on Tuesday, Charles was asked if he’s toasted to the news yet.

“Oh yes, absolutely,” he said. “Several times.”

The Prince of Wales, who was sampling a malt produced in his honor at the distillery, walked Meghan down the aisle during their May wedding.

Meghan, 37, who is due in the spring, has had her 12-week ultrasound and is “feeling well,” a royal source told PEOPLE. The royal couple is currently visiting Australia on a 16-day tour, where they’ve already received their first baby gift and spoken out about the pregnancy announcement.

At a reception event at Admiralty House, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are staying, Harry, 34, thanked Australia for the” incredibly warm welcome” they’d received and the “chance to meet Aussies from all walks of life.”

“We also genuinely couldn’t think of a better place to announce the, er, upcoming baby,” Harry said, who appeared slightly nervous and looked over to Meghan. He added, “whether it’s a boy or a girl.”

The royal baby is set to make history as one of the first ever heirs of mixed race in the British royal family.

“It is so beautiful at every level,” Tessy Ojo, the chief executive of the Diana Award who was a guest at Harry and Meghan’s May wedding, tells PEOPLE. “We all can’t wait to see what the baby will be and what the baby will look like, what this beautiful gorgeous bundle will look like.”

Husband Finds Wife Mauled to Death by Pet Dog at Home: Gone for '15 Minutes' and 'She Was Dead'

Husband Finds Wife Mauled to Death by Pet Dog at Home: Gone for '15 Minutes' and 'She Was Dead'

The longtime owner of a large mixed-breed dog that police initially identified as a pit bull was mauled to death by her pet in her Washington, D.C., home on Sunday evening, PEOPLE confirms.

Officers responded about 6:30 p.m to a call from a home about an unconscious woman, according to a statement and incident report from D.C. police obtained by PEOPLE.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they found 55-year-old Angela Smith suffering from multiple trauma wounds to her body.

Fire department and EMS personnel treated her as they rushed her to MedStar Washington Hospital Center, the report states. She was pronounced dead at 7:11 p.m.

While an initial police statement described the dog as a pit bull, a police spokeswoman tells PEOPLE she cannot confirm the exact breed and referred those questions to D.C.’s Humane Rescue Alliance.

A spokesman with the rescue says the dog was a large mixed breed.

The animal was humanely euthanized, the spokesman says.

The dog “growled and snapped” when police tried to put him into a van, as seen in a video taken at the scene, local TV stations WRC and WJLA report.

Smith’s fatal mauling is currently a death investigation, police say. An autopsy will be performed to determine Smith’s cause of death.

The attack left her husband, Rob Frazier, shocked and distraught.

Holding back tears, Frazier said he “left the house for 15 minutes,” WUSA reports. When he returned home, “She was dead.”

Frazier adopted the dog, named Kaine, eight years ago from his nephew, he told WRC.

He and his wife had been together for 20 years and married for two, he told reporters.

She and Kaine got along well, he said: “They was really buddies. What I’m thinking is, she might have taken some food, something like that, from him. And he’s really aggressive like that. Maybe, just maybe, I think he reacted that way.”

Neighbors were also surprised that the dog attacked Smith since he always seemed well-behaved when they saw Smith walking him, according to WRC.

“Nobody foresaw that,” neighbo
