O.J. Simpson is back in court. The former football star who was famously acquitted of murder in a celebrated "trial of the century" goes back on trial on Monday for robbery and kidnapping charges stemming from a Las Vegas hotel incident.
Jury selection begins in Nevada today for Simpson and co-defendant Clarence Stewart, who are accused of a violent and threatening confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers in September 2007. Simpson argues that the property he was taking was his and that he never told anyone to bring weapons.
Simpson was charged with murder for the June 1994 slayings of former girlfriend Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman. He was acquitted of all charges on October 3, 1995, but two years later he was found civilly liable for the wrongful death of Goldman and ordered to pay $33.5 million in damages.
